New life on the Web: print beats tv at their own game

Perhaps there is no better example of how Web video has changed the way we view recorded images than the New York Times’ video obit of Art Buchwald. The Times’ famous obit column, “The Last Word,” has now been turned into Web video – where people are filmed before death, giving their last word.

This video just nails the point, when Buchwald opens the shot by saying, “Hi, I’m Art Buchwald. And I just died.”
