Last night a few of us headed to the lovely rotunda of Borough Hall, in dowtown Brooklyn, to attend the launch of Brooklyn Fashion Week(end).

And my close friend and favorite high-end designer, Julia Lintern aka Molly Spinach, showed her new fall line. A famous bass player once described Julia as “cozy like a kitten,” but as an areospace engineer for JetBlue by day, and designer diva by night, Julia is nothing but inspiring, determined and highly creative.
Many of you have already asked me about her work, because you’ve seen me in it…held up on the street wearing that deep red jacket with the rouching on the derriere.
I call it ‘urban Brooklyn in an 18th Century English garden.’

Wow – v. sexy. I love it!! Makes me feel like an inadequate underachiever. Hmmm… I guess it’s true that the truth hurts.
Huge congrats to Julia!! We’re PRADA you (what a terrible attempt at runway humor). And to her fashion muse and equally Renaissance woman, our blogger extraordinaire.
What Julia can whip up in a few weeks of her spare time would take most people years to dream up. And by then, of course it would be out of fashion. Best in show, very well done!
oh I think I’m turning a shade of vermillion..
Thanks all for your constant support..(and especially to the author)
Without you how could I possibly muse over bustling butts?
